ForgottenBuffalo.com supports the re-imagining of the Broadway Market. The city’s largest and oldest public market is located in the Historic Polonia District. Only 2 miles from the downtown business core, it rates as one of our region’s most cherished institutions…an environment that is uniquely Buffalo. Periodically, Forgotten Buffalo will post pictures from other regional public markets to give those with a vision and creativity, a glimpse of what could be…

Over the past 170 years the Hamilton Market has survived and prospered through eight Market renovations. The city regards the Market as a valuable asset for the City of Hamilton and an essential part of Hamilton's Urban Renewal Plan. Over the past several years, it has become clear that the Market has fallen behind in its design and aesthetic appeal, and in its ability to service the needs of today's customers. Over $5.1 million dollar are being set aside for upgrade.
