The signature Tonawanda and Ontario street building dates to the early 1940's and was built after a fire nearly put the retailer out of business. Architect Louis Greenstein designed the new Riverside Men's Shop that featured the city's first air-conditioning, first plate-glass doors, and first fluorescent lighting.
