Best of Forgotten Buffalo -
The best way to kick of a new season of tours is by offering up our best stuff. Join us as we traverse the city and experience some of our favorite places. We will visit numerous neighborhoods and learn the overall history of Buffalos industrial past and what made us such an important part of the nations history. All while we eat, drink and laugh our way through local history.
Saturday Nov. 3rd 5:30pm
Private Clubs and Covert Ops -
For many years in WNY, private social and military clubs were networking hubs for all ethnic groups in every neighborhood. They were the social media of their generations. Way before Facebook, people were posting pictures and notices at these places, although back then they used bulletin boards. Some of these clubs were formed in the 1800s and a few still stand to this day. Join us as we travel to other cultures and share some secret code without ever leaving the city or having to go through bootcamp.
A Polish Tavern Christmas Tour-
In Buffalo's Polonia (as with Poles all over the world), Christmas is the most anticipated day of the year. Specifically Christmas Eve when months of preparation culminate in a celebration of family, friends, faith and feast. So join us as we recreate a Christmas eve circa 1964 complete with a traditional Wigilia dinner, a visit to a beautiful historic church and Christmas caroling accompanied by our own Forgotten Buffalo Orchestra.
